Terms and Conditions
Last updated: November 2, 2026
These Terms govern your use of 2 Magic Words, including its website, accounts, public profiles, Magic Words, payments, and related features.
1. Using the Service
You may use the service only in compliance with these Terms and applicable law. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for activity carried out through your account. Provide accurate information and keep it current.
You must not use the service if you are not permitted to enter into these Terms. If you use the service for an organization, you confirm that you have authority to accept these Terms for that organization.
2. Profiles and User Content
You retain ownership of the content you submit. You grant 2 Magic Words the limited, non-exclusive right to host, reproduce, display, and distribute that content only as needed to provide the service, including displaying content you make public on your profile.
You are responsible for ensuring that your profile, Magic Words, photos, links, and other content do not violate the rights of others or applicable law. The Acceptable Use Policy is part of these Terms.
3. Payments and Payouts
Payments are processed by Stripe and are subject to Stripe's applicable terms and requirements. A payment may be declined, delayed, reversed, or refunded where required by the payment provider, applicable law, or a valid dispute process. Creators are responsible for providing accurate payout information and satisfying applicable onboarding, verification, tax, and regulatory requirements before payouts can be made.
Fees
- LoveTap. You are charged only for months in which you sent a LoveTap. From each payment, the card processing fee and a 5% 2 Magic Words fee are deducted, and the rest is shared between the people you tapped.
- Payouts. We pass on Stripe's payout costs from each payout: currently US$0.25 + 0.25% of the payout, plus US$2 in your first payout of a calendar month. Payouts in another currency pay the same value at Stripe's current exchange rate, rounded up. There is no such fee if no payout is made.
Inactive balances
If your balance is below the payout minimum (currently US$15, or the equivalent in your payout currency) and there has been no activity on it for 30 days, we may charge an inactivity fee of US$1 per month. Activity means money moving on your balance, such as receiving a LoveTap or tip, a refund, or a payout; the fee itself is not activity.
- We tell you first. Before the first fee we email you, and no fee can be charged until 30 days after that email. If there is activity after our email, no fee is charged, and we will email you again before any later fee.
- It is small and capped. The fee is charged at most once per calendar month, is never more than your balance, and never makes your balance negative. We email you each time a fee is charged.
- It stops. The fee stops as soon as there is activity, or when your balance reaches the payout minimum and is paid out.
4. Service Changes and Availability
We may change, suspend, or discontinue features when reasonably necessary to operate, secure, or improve the service. We will not intentionally use such changes to avoid obligations already incurred. The service is provided on an “as available” basis; we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.
5. Suspension and Termination
We may suspend or terminate access when we reasonably believe that an account or activity breaches these Terms, creates a security or fraud risk, harms other users, or is required to be restricted by law. You may stop using the service and request account deletion at any time through account settings.
6. Disclaimers and Liability
To the extent permitted by law, 2 Magic Words disclaims warranties not expressly stated in these Terms. Nothing in these Terms excludes rights or liabilities that cannot legally be excluded or limited.
7. Contact and Changes
For questions about these Terms, contact support@2magicwords.com. We may update these Terms when the service or applicable requirements change; the current version and its effective date are published on this page.
